FUNCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Reservation and payment conditions:
  • All reservations must confirm the approximate number of guests and estimated time of arrival at the restaurant.
  • Changes in guest numbers of 10% or greater at any time prior to the date must be advised to Seagrass as quickly as practical.
  • Final numbers must be advised 5 days prior to the function date. Cancellations after this date will be charged.
  • Cancellation of the function less than 45 days prior to the event may result in the loss of total deposit. This will be at the discretion of the restaurant.
• Payment:
  • A deposit is required to be paid within 30 days of making the reservation. This applies to reservations for 20 guests or greater. A payment of $500 or 25% of the quoted costs, whichever is greater must be paid.
  • Minimal spend for restaurant takeovers must be paid at least 7 days prior to the event. Final costs must be paid at the completion of the function.
  • Payment may be made via direct debit, cash, visa/MC/EFTPOS (2.5% surcharge) or AMEX (3.5% surcharge).

  • Choice of 5: $45 per person
  • Choice of 7: $55 per person
  • Choice of 9: $65 per person
• Set Menu Pricing
  • 3 Courses: $65/person (includes Canapes)
• Restaurant Takeovers
  • Taking over the restaurant for a private function incurs different costs during the various seasons of the year. A minimum spend for the night is required as listed below. These rates are based on 5:30pm – 11:00pm time frame.

• Beverages
  • Beverages will be charged on a consumption basis. All beverages are selected by the client at least 7 days before the event.
  • Beverage packages may be organised and charged on a per person basis. This price depends on beverages selected by the client.
  • The client may arrange for BYO bottled wine only which will be charges at $8 per bottle.
• Other Conditions:
  • The client is responsible for any damage to the property caused by themselves or their guests.
  • Seagrass is a non-smoking establishment. Clients and guests may smoke outside the perimeter of the restaurant, includes no smoking in the marque area.
  • Intoxicated Guests – Any guest deemed to be intoxicated or behaving in a disorderly manner will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
